Lynn is a Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in dyslexia and other language-based learning difficulties. She obtained her Masters in Education from Wheaton College, in 2003. In 2011, she obtained her first Orton-Gillingham certification from the Dyslexia Institute of Minnesota. She later became a certified Barton Reading and Spelling Tutor. She opened Achievement Language Services in 2017, providing individually tailored evidence-based therapy for struggling learners. In 2020, her experience and life-long passion for accessible learning for every student, led her to return for a second Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Iowa. In 2021, she joined the International Dyslexia Association of Iowa as a contributing board member. Lynn finds it incredibly motivating to help bright children, who continue to struggle due to language-based learning barriers, find a path to educational success and realize just how bright their future can be!
